Walparuta Project

Located approximately 130 km northeast of Peterborough and 160 km southwest of Broken Hill, the Walparuta Project comprises three contiguous licences covering 220 km² within the southern Curnamona Province — a globally recognised polymetallic province hosting major copper-gold systems.

Geology

The tenements host Palaeoproterozoic Willyama Supergroup rocks overlain by Neoproterozoic sediments, intruded by potassic granitoids and pegmatites. Magnetic and gravity data reveal coincident anomalies associated with hydrothermal magnetite-biotite breccias, a key indicator for Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) mineralisation. The project also has potential for shear-hosted gold, stratabound polymetallic sulphides, and pegmatite-related REEs.

Historical Work

Limited historical production yielded 66 tonnes of copper ore, while past drilling (nine holes to 230 m depth) returned significant intersections including:

1.52 m @ 0.53% Cu and 1.37 g/t Au
7.62 m @ 0.90% Cu and 0.62 g/t Au
4.57 m @ 0.73% Cu and 1.49 g/t Au

Over 100 surface samples exceeded 1,000 ppm Cu, correlating strongly with magnetite-bearing zones traceable via geophysical data.

Exploration Potential

The Company plans to conduct systematic geophysical modelling, mapping, and RC drilling to refine IOCG targets and test the extent of mineralisation beneath shallow cover zones.
